Here and Now 2019

4 dried photos after soaking in water, 2 back of photos, 1 printed mobile image on photo paper, cut, fold, bent and layered.
A three-dimensional photographic work collapses image and surface, visual and material, flatness and space, interior and exterior, stagnation and movement, necessity and contingency, 'it has been' and 'the here and now'. This creates a friction between the indexical, transparent and reproducible character of photography and the current materiality of the object in question. 11/11/19 Sunyoung Park
